Warren-Group

Warren-Group group has two open positions in Charlotte, NC, and Irmo, SC. Both positions entail three basic requirements: 1.) B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory, M.S. a plus), 7-10+ years manufacturing experience,  PE License (Mandatory, multiple states a plus), and Project Management experience. The candidates must also possess strong analytical skills, independent judgment, excellent verbal and written communication skills, have high moral standards and integrity, be able to travel regionally as required by current investigations. Experience in testifying in depositions or trials is desirable, but not mandatory.

The position in Charlotte is for a Forensic Engineer investigating accidents caused by either equipment or machinery failures, which cause personal or property loss. To accomplish this, the Engineer should also possess some design background so as to intelligently analyze the cause of the accident. The Irmo position requires a Forensic Engineer to investigate accidents caused by slips, trips, and falls. This is a growing concern because of the aging of the population. This individual should have a strong background in safety as applied to slips, trips, and falls accidents, knowledge of surface tension analysis, coefficient of friction testing, ASTM and ANSI standards, and building codes.

The Warren-Group presently supplies expert witness services in professional engineering, safety consulting, and fire investigation to the Legal and Insurance professions, government agencies, and industry. The Firm was established in February, 1997, and has its headquarters at the Irmo, South Carolina location, with branch offices in Charlotte, North Carolina, Wilmington, Delaware, and with a presence in both Virginia and Georgia. Our staff of Forensic Engineers are involved in a broad range of investigations, which include accident reconstruction, product and equipment failures, fire, explosion, accident analysis, structural failures, and environmental accidents.

A career at the Warren-Group allows our employees a professional but casual working environment where teamwork excels. Our engineers are allowed the freedom and opportunity to solve problems of varying degrees of complexity, and to be significant factors in the Firms' growth.
