Knoxville, TN – 12/9/04: Chair of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers Chapter 107, Ralton B. Emory of Ten Mile, TN, has been
selected to serve as a member of the 2005 Chapter Enhancement Subcommittee. The
Chapter Enhancement Subcommittee was established as part of the Member Engagement Initiative that SME adopted nationally in
2004.
According to the email notification sent to Emory by Ron
Harrelson, Chairman of the Member Council, Emory was selected based on his “experience, proven ability to get SME’s
work done on time and in a professional manner, and the ability to achieve consensus as a team member.”
Emory’s term as a member of the Subcommittee will
begin in January of 2005.
On December 7th, SME Greater Smoky Mountain Chapter
107 elected the members of the 2005 Chapter Executive Board. In a vote of attending
chapter members, the following positions were selected:
